POLICE DOGS, PET DOGS AND ALL THINGS CANINE
A Talk by David Davies


David Davies served in the London Metropolitan Police and Durham Constabulary for thirty years having spent most of his career with the dog section. He trained and handled many dogs for drug, firearm, ammunition, currency, protection, tracking, searching etc.
David has also run his own private dog behaviour and training business and has been a regular contributor to Talk Radio Europe as well as appearing on television in the series K999 Dog Detectives, the first of the reality styled police programmes.  He was behaviour and training adviser for Packleader Dog Adventures and has served on committees for The British Police & Services Canine Association and was jointly with his wife Susan, editor for BPSCAs official journal ‘Service Dog.’
His talk will encompass the history of police dogs in the UK, as well general dog behaviour and training.
